Hello there, welcome back. If you’re new, it’s good to have you here.
Over the past two months I’ve received a couple of Award nominations. Although I’m extremely grateful that my site was being thought of, I won’t be doing it the conventional way of Award tags. Don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate it very much.
These are questions that I wanted to write answers to and those which gives you more of an insight as to who sits behind this site and what goes on in her mind. I bet you’re dyyyying to know. (Rolls eyes) As for the other questions I was asked, the answers to those will just find their way in other posts.
The questions:
1) What inspired me to start blogging?
-This whole ordeal dates back to when I was 12-13 years old, a die hard fan of Twilight. Having read the books, I was head over heels in love with the style of writing (Wut?) and so I decided I wanted to write novels like that too (I ask myself why even to this day.)
Seeing that I loved writing, my sister and her friend made me a blogging account on BlogSpot and that was my gift for my 13th birthday. A piece of the internet. (Name a better gift, go.) The inspiration started with that.

You can make your own website: Godaddy.com (India)
2) What is love according to me?
-The amount of times I’ve hit backspace on this answer. Sigh.
Love to me means a chance at extra courage. Whether you love yourself or have a special someone, love gives you a chance to feel a sense of hidden courage that allows you to push boundaries, ones that are unrealistic as well. All because you know that if something were to go wrong, you have someone to fall back on while you gear up for another try at it.
To me unconditional love gives a looooot of courage that I sometimes can’t draw from myself. Living life takes courage and love gives you just that.
Love also means trust. No surprise there.
Also, love is buttered toast and jam. You know I love you. (*winks*)
The Five Love Languages- Gary Chapman.
3) How do I handle people I don’t like?
-Bye, Felicia.
4) An advice I wish I had gotten when I was younger.
In my tenth grade, a grade that I honestly thought I was going to the dumps, I remember skipping out on sports day using the lie that I had to be at someone’s christening. I was a clever kid that knew how to play her Christian card at a Christian school well.
I didn’t stay for the events I had gotten selected in because I thought if I wasn’t going to win, that’d paint a bad picture for my nonexistent image. That my classmates would think I wasn’t good enough. I wish I was told that I shouldn’t care then because I wouldn’t care years later. But jokes on me, so…. moving on.
5) Do you have any regrets in your life? And anything you’d want to change if you go back in time? What would it be?
I regret not doing certain things I loved doing or would’ve loved doing because I was scared what people would think of me. I know I would have given banger performances in some of the things I pulled my name out of because of the fear of being made fun of if I messed up.
I’d definitely go back and tweak the confidence level I had back in school. I now know for a fact that I had some of the best materials during certain debate, elocution and essay competitions that we had back in school, but because of a sudden stutter or mad anxiousness for no real reason, I’d either mess up or withdraw my name.
I’d definitely go back and change Teenage Anya’s confidence so it’ll trickle down to my present self who also sometimes struggles.
6) What is the first thing people notice about you?
My apparent ‘bitch’ face. It’s honestly nothing personal. I’m just lazy to be any sort of ‘animated’ or even so much as smile. But I’m really smiling on the inside. I’m a happy person on the inside but just lazy on the outside.
I’ve also been told I’ve got a great head of hair (Not in those exact words) and a striking pair of eyes (Not in those exact words either. I’m just hyping myself here.)
7) What’s the best way to relax after a stressful day?
I eat- while being stressed and after a stressful situation. It’s just something I’m passionate about so I pour that passion into everything.
Stressful situations take a toll on your sleep and I’m no exception to that. Although the amount of sleep I get even through such situations is quite baffling to the average person, I still require quality sleep. And so, that’s what you’ll find me catching up on.
What can I say? I’m just a simple girl with simple needs.
8) If the world were to end tomorrow, what would you do today?
I’m going to Maldives, bye. (You really should’ve seen this one coming.)
I hope that gave you a little insight to ‘Who is she’. If not, don’t worry, you’re not missing out on much, really. If you want to carry forward the questions I was asked and spin your own post, feel free.
As always, thanks for reading 🙂

This was a really interesting person I feel I know a little bit now. The part about regrets is so relatable, how I wish I should have completed things I started and not chickened out.

Must be tough having to wait ….

Not tough, of course. I’d just like to go there someday. It’s a longing. The wait just passes by quickly. Bigger things to worry about than the wait lol

“I never want to look back at anything and think, “Damn, I could have eaten that.”” – This made my day! Absolutely credible! (The rest of the post and this entire blog is great, too! Treasures to discover! Thanks for liking my post so that I can “find” you!)

The thing you said about high school friends becoming deleted contacts hit me so hard. I have stayed best friends with about four people from high school and the rest pretty much just drifted away. When we’re young it feels like we’ll be friends forever but that is so far from the case.

We writers can write anything but about ourselves. But guess what, you’re an exception to this sweeping generalization. You are gifted and your words have power which cannot be described.
